Bye 2016!

hopepostI wish perhaps I had done this January 2016, because. I’m not sad to see it go, and yet it feels like things won’t be quite the same.

So maybe we can try to do this for 2017? So next year this time…we’ll have something to treasure. This year in…

Writing
I got published in CSFTS this  cdftsyear, and a women’s devotional I didn’t realize I’d be a part of, but I haven’t really written much else.  I miss it, I hope we can reunite in 2017.

Health
Still uncertain, I’m too undisciplined and non huge pill swallowing for the healthy side of attempting to improve my symptoms…and too anxious, dispirited and poor to try to get heavier and ridiculously expensive medsms-costthe ones that seem to work for some people anyway. I need more direction here.  It sucks to not be able to get up after you fall – or sometimes even when you’ve just taken a seat. It would be nice to get out more often in 2017.

Lifeish
I’ve started “my type”  meditation. It is just a much more intentional prayer and quiet time with God.  I’ve spent a great deal of 2016 indoors because – having to use my walker is such a production. I don’t need it i my home most times, but I do need it when I go out.
It’s been a lonely year…but I always say it..I’d rather be alone and lonely than lonely and not alone. Ive experienced both.
For me, lonely and not alone is so much more heartbreaking. At least with this alone loneliness I can have some hope. And since I’m leaving this area of my life to God now, Ill just have to wait and see.
